Mexican Tacos


 Ingredients:

For pickled meat:

Beef fillet or pork - 500 g, cut into thin strips

Onion - 1 medium, cut into thin half rings

Garlic - 3 cloves, crushed

Juice of 2 limes

Milk - 1/4 cup

Coriander (ground) - 1 teaspoon

Cumin (ground) - 1 teaspoon

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Red pepper (ground) - to taste

Salt and black pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

For fillings and serving:

Tortillas - 10 pcs.

Iceberg lettuce - cut into thin ribbons

Tomatoes - 2 medium, diced

Red onion - 1 medium, cut into thin rings

Coriander (coriander) - chopped

Salsa or guacamole sauce - for serving

Steps:

Pickled Meat:

In a bowl, mix onion, garlic, lime juice, milk, coriander, cumin, paprika, red pepper, salt, black pepper and vegetable oil.

Add the meat to the marinade and leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours or better overnight.

Cooking meat:

Preheat a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the meat from the marinade until tender, until it becomes golden and tender.

Preparation of fillings:

Time to prepare the fillings. Heat the tortillas in a dry frying pan or over an open flame of the stove.

Put some meat on each tortilla and add lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and cilantro.

Pour salsa or guacamole sauce over the top.

Serving:

Fold the tortillas in half and serve immediately.
